Complaint on the Carpet cleaning, he barely got through the door and started giving us disclaimers on how he can't guarantee anything, but he was quick to jack up the price and said if we wanted the spot treatment, disinfectant, shampoo and deodorizer that was going to cost $800.00 then he dropped it to $750.00 after all was said and done it ended up costing $700.00 because he could tell we were not satisfied customer

The fabric becomes temporarily darkened by the fluid used to clean it. As it dries, it returns to its original color. It was only after it dried that I could see that the stains I hired the company to remove had not been removed. They were still there.

Terrible service; results are less than mediocre. Had a couch cleaned and you would never know it. Rug cleaned with same results.

Service was hostile, with introduction of "how are you going to pay" as the first words out of his mouth. Took him 15 minutes to do a couch and rug. Must of just used water as it looks the same after they service was done as it did before. Recommend one never use this service.

Rip off

got a call from a boiler room outfit, no doubt, and was offered 3 room steam cleanig for $59.95, Press 1 to make an appointment, press 2 to be taken off the list. (as if). I pressed 1 and asked the lady for the name of the company. She hesitated (probably had to look it up) and then told me it was Green Echo Clean. I said I had to talk to hubby and call back and give me a number to call tomorrow. Took her forever and she hesitated at half the numbers. I went online to see about the company and of course here is no Green Echo. I assume this is the outfit she was making calls on. I decided to call and let them know I'd read the reviews and wouldn't be booking a job. Well, guess what? The number she gave me is a scam too. I listened to the same 8 bars of music for almost 20 minutes, interrupted every 90 seconds by "Your call is important to us. Please wait for the next available agent". There is no agent. That was a loop that just plays on and on. Probably the phone number they give out when an angry customer demands the number to call the office and complain. I figured it was some sort of scam. No one steam cleans 3 rooms for 60 bucks. But I wanted to see how big a scam it was. It's a biggie. Apparently they do coupons too. I never look at those. But I was curious to see what kind of phone scam this would be. Biggie.

Eco Green Carpet Cleaning Review from Burbank, California

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Eco clean green dry carpet care 818-287-****. Receipt from: Carpet Tile & Air Duct Care 800-845-**** I had carpet cleaning by Santos on 6/30/15. First he quoted some ridiculous price (I believe it was around 500) then he said he could do it for 300 cash. He then added that for 400 he would clean the entire house and then come back in 6 months and clean it again. I called the company recently and was told that they were not going to honor what Santos told me. I called again and was told that Santos was willing to come back and clean my carpet for another 150. I have been waiting for the supervisor, Mike, to call me. At this point, it doesn't feel like it will be resolved. This company appears to be dishonest but I am waiting to see if they will do the right thing.

NEVER, EVER AGAIN!!!

don't know what city you live in (I live in Orange, CA) but I got the same coupon in a neighborhood booklet. Instead of paying 37.95 for sofa and 33.95 for love seat I ended up paying $200 which was for "basic cleaning" using truck mounted machine. My guy "Gus" (he refused to give me his name but in one of my 7 calls to office I heard the girl call him that) was a fast talker and I too couldn't understand everything he said and when I asked him to repeat he got angry. The office did tell him to complete the job satisfactorily and he got very angry and cursed me in another language (not Spanish or French). He tried to use the steamer for everything and did not use a brush at all in the beginning. All he did was wet my walls and wood floors. I asked him to clean up the water and again he got angry. I mentioned why so much water if the add said dry shampoo. He said the shampoo was powder. He was here for about 31/2 hours and the job is still not satisfactory but I signed, paid, and asked him to leave. I have had other cleaning services and never one as bad as this. He was ill prepared I had to give him a sheet for my sofa cushions. At the end when I told him the cushions needed to be cleaned again as they were the same as before he came. He wanted to charge me more thus another office call. After he hung up he told me I needed to pay him $200 in cash before he cleaned the cushions and that I was wasting his time. That is when I asked him to leave. He then relented cleaned the cushions again and accepted the credit card. He kept telling me that I wasn't honest! and that he wasn't making any money on this job because of all the gas he was using. His machine was connected to my water faucet should I charge him for that? I didn't realize it until I followed him outside. In the past the trucks have their own water tanks. His van did not have a company logo as well. I will never, EVER, USE ECO GREEN AGAIN!!

Living social voucher rip off!! 2500 square foot house did not include 2500 sq feet of carpet, so ***!! Additional $400 in fees by the time they left. I can not believe they can be such *** as who would ever have them come back! Terrible customer service. The carpet looks no different then when they started and the pet odors they guaranteed to get rid of only changed to a new funky smell. They also leaked radiator fluid all over my drive way when the truck broke down and then refused to admit it or do about it. They came back because they forgot something and redid the pet odors area but that did nothing Never ever use this company!!!

Eco Green making things right

I had a similar experience as some that are listed here. The technician made us uncomfortable and basically told us that our carpets were "covered in urine". They are not. He also told us that our Groupon was basically useless because the cleaning he would do would only bring out the urine smell. He immediately blamed my dog, not knowing that I'm a dog trainer. He only did half of the house, because the upcharge was steep. However, I'm very pleased to say that I received a call from them today apologizing and wanting to make things right. They are sending out a different technician tomorrow who will clean the rest of the house. I'm very impressed!

Wow! After reading some of these other reviews, I feel fortunate that I was just thoroughly pissed and disgusted and called the whole thing off! Mitch came in with his Magic *** Light AND 30 years of experience and totally tried to jack up the price of the "cleaning." After vainly trying to convince/cajole/wear me down, his last ditch effort was to tell me to "wait until spring" to do the steps and/or to get our tax refund so we would have enough to pay for ALL the "special" treatments that we NEEDED! Clean your own carpets rather than call them...fair warning! P.S....I am NOT another carpet cleaning place! These guys don't need anyone to besmirch them; they do a great job doing it to themselves!!!!

We will not be using them again. Same thing as above.

Came in with his little black light and informed us that our carpet was "covered in urine". I think not. We had a groupon which we were told was basically useless.

Thoroughly disgusted by the high pressure sales tactics.

To begin with, the female who answered the phone for the appointment seemed very young and rude and completely clueless for any information. We had a coupon that was sent to us for $37.95 to clean a sofa for first time customers. Needless to say it was a scam. He said he couldn't do it for less than almost $300 because it was so dirty and burbur. He would not be able to use the regular cleaning process. Finally we agreed (my fault... I wanted it clean for Thanksgiving)... at the quote of $250... and he would go down to $197 if we weren't happy. He was about to pack up when we showed him all the dirt left on the sofa and asked that he give it another cleaning. He did. Grudgingly. "It's still wet." "That stain will not come out." Are we happy? No. Does it look better than it did? Yes. Would we hire them again? Absolutely Not. He spoke so quickly and in circles for the first ten minutes of his sales job, we had no idea what he was saying. I did check them out on yelp... but now I see I was looking at another company with a very similar name.

This company is NOT reputable!! They try to force you to pay a higher price...if you have a coupon,,

I called this company to have my carpet cleaned.. just a small area.. I had a coupon which I told them.. They reassured me I could use it.. When they arrived to do my carpets I gave them my coupon..for the $45.95 coupon amount quoted.. The guy told me that it would be more than that.. He couldn't do the job for less than $150.00,,, He refused to do the service for the amount of the coupon....and he left.. I called the company,, asked to speak to the manager/supervisor.. Never received a returned call.. I phoned AGAIN three days later.. and was told the service tech who came to do "the job" incorrectly told the company my carpet was "black, and stained" and needed more than the $45.00 coupon would cover.. This was a bold face lie.. I suggest using another company.. The manager has still not called me back..

Most unreliable company I ever dealt with

This is the most unreliable company I have ever dealt with in my life. Their customer service is absolutely nonexistent. I have purchased a deal via Living Social website for a 2,500 ft house carpet cleaning service with Eco Green Carpet Cleaning. I have scheduled my appointment with them three weeks in advance; however the day before my appointment the company called me and cancelled their services due to very cold weather. So I rescheduled my appointment two weeks after the initial appointment. I took the time off work that day, moved all the furniture and was waiting for a technician to arrive. However, 30 minutes prior the arrival time I received a phone call notifying me that my appointment was cancelled because the technician did not show up at work that day. I rescheduled my appointment again. I took a half day off work that day and moved the furniture in the house (for the third time!). All that work- just to get an email notification 45 min prior to the scheduled arrival time that my appointment has been rescheduled for afternoon. The story goes on… I absolutely DO NOT recommend anybody doing business with this company unless you have a very flexible schedule and can wait for them to show up (maybe?) at your house at any time convenient to them. They wasted a lot of my time; it cost me a lot of my PTO and money. I hope my review will help people to make a better choice and find better services. DO NOT USE ECO GREEN CARPET CLEANING COMPANY.

We have no records of anyone calling in upset because we had to reschedule them. Being this is posted on this site ( a non trusted review site) this could be an attack by another cleaning company trying to make us look bad.

We have had only 4 days where we had to reschedule all apts. 2 were with -30 degree below weather and 2 were due to unsafe roads due to snow storms. Yes there are days when we have people out sick, but recently we have not had that. Here at Ecogreen we are working very hard to offer the best customer service possible.

Weather its a attack from another company or someone that is just having a bad day. Please be a normal responsible person and call if you have any concerns instead of trying to boost your self esteem by making a company that works hard look bad.

EcoGreen destroyed our carpet and now they're lying!

We bought a deal on LivingSocial for what we thought was just a standard carpet cleaning before the holidays. After 3 voicemails to get scheduled, they finally called us back and said it wouldn't be until AFTER the holidays (This was in November!) When I asked for a refund, the "Receptionist" asked to call me back and was going to see if she could work something out. She calls back in 10 minutes and says she can get us in that Sunday... That should have been our first clue. So the guy arrives, up-sells us on a fancy new Ph cleaning solution that's supposed to do wonders (Boy did it ever!) The carpet in our master bedroom and walk-through closet is a very thick, low pile carpet. He does his thing and we think it looks and smells great, so we give a good review on his little report card and off he goes. The next day, we get up and immediately notice a white residue like film all over! I called the company back, left a couple voicemails, finally I managed to get ahold of the technician who came out and had done the work. I explained what we were seeing and he says right away, "Oh you know what? I was at my next appointment that day and I discovered that my suction wand was clogged, so that's probably what happened". Sure, fine, so he arranges to come back out the next weekend to give the carpet a rinse and says it should be ok now, but to call and update him in a day or two. Well 2 days later and no change, so we call again and ask for him to come back out. He agrees and we rinse again, no change! The 3rd time, he brings his "trainer" with him (We had no idea he was brand new) and the trainer guy tries to blame it on carpet powder! What I said was that I use it MAYBE 4 or 5 times a year, what THEY turned around and said to the BBB months later was that we supposedly admitted to using it 4 or 5 times a WEEK!!! LIARS! Finally we get the owner, Jason Miller, to come out. He shows up, takes one look at the carpet and says he knows what happened. The Ph chemical was not used properly, but with continued rinsings, it would come out. THEN he even admits that they had accidentally gotten some on someone else's wall and they had to wash it out 6 or 7 times before it all came up. Ok, fine, so let's do another rinse or two and see where we're at. Two more and the carpet still does not look one bit better. Then, we spill a small amount of water from a little 10 gallon fishtank. We're talking less than a gallon, spilled it right inside the walk-through closet doorway. The carpet where this spill happened actually looked BETTER after it had dried! NOW EcoGreen is trying to say that we have a 50 gallon fish tank, spilled the WHOLE THING, and that's where the residue is coming from! WHAT A LYING ***! They already have a D- rating with the BBB, they never responded to our complaint with the MN Atty. Gen. and of course, as shady companies do, they waited until the last day that they were allowed to respond to the BBB complaint, and then lied right through their teeth! Don't ever be fooled by this company and NEVER let them in your house. You will regret it forever. If the BBB can't get them to replace our carpet, we're probably going to have to start looking for a lawyer. What a deal! :P

We have been at that customers house 3 times trying to figure out what was leaving white spots on there carpet. And we also took into consideration there concern and not knowing what was causing it.

Finally after the 3rd time being there his partner showed us all the bottles of powdered carpet freshener he had gone through because he liked the smell of it and they more he used it the fresher there bedroom would be. After we cleaned it the first time we basically foamed up our truckmount full of carpet powder foam and almost destroyed our truck and yet not knowing that ether at the time. But yet we still went back there not knowing and still tried to solve the problem. After finding out the cause we still took them into consideration and told them it will take up to 7 cleans to get all that powder out.

With all that being said we were not at fault and we offered them cleaning at a fair discounted rate to help them. After our last visit there the carpets were wet of course, and they both stated "they look great! thank you for coming back again" but we still told them both that the carpets are wet and when it dries the white spots will come back. Not more than 5 days later they called back and were very rude to our receptionist and called back every 30-40mins harassing our staff.

They demanded new carpet and after what we knew and found out, we denied there request and offered to clean there room at a discounted rate to help them. They did not take that in good way.

Our receptionist then called the police to have them stop harassing us and they told us to stop answering there calls, so we did. 1 month later they filed with the BBB, the BBB closed the case, then they tried LS and they denied them a refund and now they are on a power trip trying to make us look bad and bugging other carpet cleaners as well.

I am familiar with this compliant and the home owners. Sam and Deion were just trying to get EcoGreen to replace there carpets because of a mistake they made by using way too much carpet powder when they vacuum there carpets.

There compliant was denied and closed by the BBB.

We also had dealt with the Corkers as they tried the same thing with our company. Just another person trying to blame the carpet cleaners for there own mistake.
